Hopi Dust Storm Downunda
"We will receive many warnings allowing us to change our ways from below the Earth as well as above. Then one morning in a moment. We will awaken to the Red Dawn. The sky will be the color of blood, many things will then begin to happen that right now we are nor sure of their exact nature. For much of reality will not be as it is now.

Japans New First Lady Says She Rode A UFO To Venus
Japan's next prime minister might be nicknamed "the alien," but it's his wife who claims to have had a close encounter with another world.
"While my body was asleep, I think my soul rode on a triangular-shaped UFO and went to Venus," Miyuki Hatoyama, the wife of premier-in-waiting Yukio Hatoyama, wrote in a book published last year.
"It was a very beautiful place and it was really green."
Miyuki, 66, described the extraterrestrial experience, which she said took place some 20 years ago, in a book entitled "Very Strange Things I've Encountered."
When she awoke, Japan's next first lady wrote, she told her now ex-husband that she had just been to Venus. He advised her that it was probably just a dream.
"My current husband has a different way of thinking," she wrote. "He would surely say 'Oh, that's great'."
Yukio Hatoyama, 62, the rich grandson of a former prime minister, was once nicknamed "the alien" for his prominent eyes.

Russian Kirlian Camera can see Human Soul
A wonder device can see the soul of a dead man pass away… or at least that’s what the inventor claims.
A publication of the popular Russian tabloid Life.ru gives a dramatic account of the experiments of an inventor from St Petersburg, who has created a device able to see human aura.
Accompanied by pictures suspiciously reminiscent of a series of thermal images of a woman at different temperatures, the report claims they are made with a special “gas discharge camera” built by Konstantin Korotkov, a professor at the Research Institute of Physical Culture and State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics.
The paper goes on to say that the device can register the circumstances of death, differentiating between a victim of a violent crime and a person who died quietly in bed. It also registers the changes in aura presumably made by a strong psychic working on somebody.

Tall Blondes makin circles
July 8, 2009, The Truth Hides:
A police sergeant contact, who doesn’t want to be named, was driving past Silbury Hill early Monday morning (July 6, 2009) when he saw three figures in the formation there. At first he thought they were forensic officers as they were dressed in white coveralls. He stopped his car and approached the field.
The figures were all over 6 feet and had blonde hair. They seemed to be inspecting the crop. When he got to the edge of the field, he heard what he believed to be a sound not dissimilar to static electricity. This crackling noise seemed to be running through the field and the crop was moving gently close to where the noise was moving. He felt the hair on his arms and back of his neck raise up. He shouted to the figures who at first ignored him, not glancing at him. When he tried to enter the field they looked up and began running. He said “They ran faster than any man I have ever seen. I’m no slouch, but they were moving so fast. I looked away for a second and when I looked back they were gone. I then got scared. The noise was still around, but I got an uneasy feeling and headed for the car. For the rest of the day I had a pounding headache I couldn’t shift.”Thursday, July 9, 2009

More Bloodless Half-Cats Reported in Austin, Texas. (08/07/09)
“It was a clean cut. It (cat) was just in half.”
- Sr. Deputy. Ken Rush, Constable Precinct 3
“Since March 2001, at least 23 half-cats were found cut in half behind their front legs in the northwestern residential area of Austin, Texas. The internal organs and spine sections are cleanly severed, but there is very little if any blood at the scene and no signs of struggle, leading investigators to speculate that the cats are being cut up somewhere else and then returned to their home vicinity. The Austin Police Department and the Travis County Sheriff's Office have been investigating and a large monetary reward has been offered for any information about the perpetrators. Currently, there are no current suspects and law enforcement officials are baffled.” - earthfiles.com

South Korea to Build Robot Cities by 2013
The megaproject, the first of its kind on the planet, is estimated to cost a whopping $1.6 billion, and will feature an array of robotic marvels allowing visitors to interact with tomorrow’s machines.
According to reports published on the web site Korea.net, the two cities are being developed as futuristic hubs, poised to become the country’s Silicon Valley of robotics.
To ensure that the robotics sector continues to see such growth rates, recently, the government drew up what is known as the Robot Ethics Code, a code of ethics that will prevent android abuse by humans as well as the other way round.
It’s basically a how-to manual for both robot-makers and robot-users that tells them how to relate to robots.
What’s more, in a recently-out book titled “Love and Sex with Robots“, a British Artificial Intelligence researcher David Levy, predicts that robots will advance to such phenomenal levels in the coming years that it’ll be possible for humans to even marry them by 2050.

Volcanic lavender sunsets…
People across the USA (and now parts of Europe) are reporting unusual sunsets, the result of Russia’s Sarychev Peak volcano, which erupted on June 12, “hurling massive plumes of sulfur dioxide and other debris into the stratosphere. The white ripples that herald these sunsets are made of volcanic aerosols–a mixture of ash and sulfur compounds. Blue light scattered by fine volcanic aerosols combines with ordinary red sunset rays to produce the telltale lavender.” More at http://www.spaceweather.com

The most organic oscillator in the world
The interesting thing about this fascinating little animal is that it emits pulses of electricity into the water. It uses these tiny little shocks to locate food, other fish, and potential mates. You can actually listen to this electric fish rather easily if if use a small piezoelectric earphone or amplified speaker.
Because the fish uses the electrical signals to ’see’, the more it moves around the more signals it will produce.
Here’s an example of the assembled ‘oscillator’, done by the crazy kids at sci-toys.com:

Underwater 'flying machine'
Mr Hawkes said that, unlike other submersibles, his deep sea craft could actually "fly underwater".
"Normal submersibles have ballast systems and are nothing more than sinkers. They just treat the ocean as a vertical elevator and they typically work on the bottom on a small footprint.
"This one, instead of being a crab you drop to the bottom, is like a dolphin. It will fly off and move through the ocean with grace. It looks like a big animal moving and can do barrel rolls with whales," explained Mr Hawkes.
The Super Falcon is the culmination of 20 years of work and four generations of experimental prototype winged submersibles.
The cost of going where few have gone before ranges from $5,000 (£3,300) to $15,000 (£9,900).

BACK TO THE LAND
The 35-year-old, dressed in his old factory uniform, spent a recent morning in a remote village three hours from Tokyo. He was digging an irrigation ditch around a rice paddy, contemplating which tool was more effective, a hoe or a shovel.
“I know it’s a hard life” compared with his former job as a bookkeeper, Mr. Oshima said. “But I want to become a farmer and use my own hands to do everything, from sowing seeds to shipping boxes.” He hopes to soon rent land nearby to start farming full time.

Chinese Say They're Building 'Impossible' Space Drive
Chinese researchers claim they've confirmed the theory behind an "impossible" space drive, and are proceeding to build a demonstration version. If they're right, this might transform the economics of satellites, open up new possibilities for space exploration –- and give the Chinese a decisive military advantage in space.
To say that the "Emdrive" (short for "electromagnetic drive") concept is controversial would be an understatement.China has at least a year's head start in a technology that will dominate space and make previous satellites as obsolete as sailing ships in the age of steam.

I Live. Albert.
“There were a lot of Mediums I had Contact to in my professional work as main host and organizer of the Basler PSI-Days and of the Basler-PSI-Association, but I cannot remember one giving me a message that I was able to immediately regard as a message actually for me from a deceased friend - and to identify it in every sight, choose of Content, Choose of Words, Order of Words as message actually from him. Yes and finally the Signature on the strange Message I was immediately identifying - and was later discussing it with another person, that knew Albert very well. Its not only the Signature, the complete Writing is of high resemblance to Albert Hofmanns Scripture.” -Lucius Werthmueller sits baffled in the Seance Room and looks at the apport, that was placed “somehow softly” into his hand.

Geronimo's kin sue Skull and Bones
Geronimo's descendants have sued Skull and Bones — the secret society at Yale University linked to presidents and other powerful figures — claiming that its members stole the remains of the legendary Apache leader decades ago and have kept them ever since.
Geronimo's great-grandson Harlyn Geronimo said his family believes Skull and Bones members took some of the remains in 1918 from a burial plot in Fort Sill, Okla., to keep in its New Haven clubhouse, a crypt. The alleged graverobbing is a longstanding legend that gained some validity in recent years with the discovery of a letter from a club member that described the theft.
"I want them to understand we mean business," said Harlyn Geronimo, who lives in New Mexico. "We're very serious. We're tired of waiting and we're coming after them."
Geronimo is said to have had magical powers. He could see into the future, walk without creating footprints and even hold off the dawn to protect his own. This Apache Indian warrior and his band of 37 followers defied federal authority for more than 25 years.

The "I don't know" List
"I don't know if our solipsistic species will survive much longer, and sometimes I am not even sure how much I care. I don't know if Barack Obama is a warm-hearted leader who will unite people at a time of adversity, or the most brilliant puppet ever put forth by the New World Order conspirators (who, as radio journalist and documentary filmmaker Alex Jones suggests, may be plotting a program of rapid depopulation). I don't know if the increase in UFO sightings means we are approaching a benevolent contact experience or a horrific predatory ambush. I don't know if global warming is mainly caused by human action, or if it is part of a phase transition of the entire solar system, as the Russian scientist Dmitriev proposes.
I don't know if men and women should be monogamous or if it is better to be bonobo-like in one's erotic habits. I don't know if we will develop some type of new energy technology that will rescue us from Peak Oil, or if we are destined to see industrial civilization devolve and disintegrate as fossil fuel becomes scarce. I don't know whether to learn to grow food and harvest rainwater or to master some weird new esoteric discipline like Vortex Healing or Keylontic Science. I don't know if free will exists, or if we are conditioned robots, performing an illusory spectacle scripted by Hindu deities or dreamtime ancestors. I don't know if we should get rid of religions or create a really cool new one.
I don't know whether to stockpile gold or create an intentional community. I don't know whether to stay in Manhattan or head for the hills. I don't know whether we are approaching global enlightenment or regressing into barbarism. I don't know whether biotechnology and nanotechnology will fuse to give us immortal physical bodies or if we will all croak as our mistreated planet falls apart. I don't know if anything special will happen on December 21, 2012. I don't know if I should start a riot or throw a party. I don't know whether to panic or relax."

Nigerian police detain goat over armed robbery
LAGOS (Reuters) – Police in Nigeria are holding a goat on suspicion of attempted armed robbery.
Vigilantes took the black and white beast to the police saying it was an armed robber who had used black magic to transform himself into a goat to escape arrest after trying to steal a Mazda 323.
"The group of vigilante men came to report that while they were on patrol they saw some hoodlums attempting to rob a car. They pursued them. However one of them escaped while the other turned into a goat," Kwara state police spokesman Tunde Mohammed told Reuters by telephone.
"We cannot confirm the story, but the goat is in our custody. We cannot base our information on something mystical. It is something that has to be proved scientifically, that a human being turned into a goat," he said.

May the Force be with you
Tim Sheridan, wearing a headset containing sensors for the forehead and earlobes to measure brainwave activity, uses his mind to raise a small purple foam ball as he demonstrates the Mindflex game at the Mattel display at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 8, 2009.
Focusing on the ball causes a fan in the base of the game -- called Mind Flex -- to start up and lift the ball on a gentle stream of air. Break your concentration and the ball descends.
Once a player has the ball in the air they need to try to weave it through hoops, towers and other obstacles.
"It's a mind-eye coordination game," said Mattel's Tim Sheridan. "As you relax you'll find that the ball drops."
Mind Flex relies on EEG technology to measure brain wave activity through a headset equipped with sensors for the forehead and earlobes.

Little dung beetle is big chopper
It was rooted at the rear end of the food chain, but now the humble dung beetle is biting back.
A ferocious scarab species has been filmed in Peru attacking and eating millipedes 10 times its length.
D. valgum no longer dines on faeces. Instead, the nocturnal predator prefers to decapitate live prey with its armour "teeth" and then devour their insides.
It is a rare example of a scavenger species turning carnivore, say US scientists in a Royal Society journal.
